Let us come together for a cup of warmth and sit in my library of books and teachings that I would like to share with you through this blog! I truly look forward to your comments and all the books that have helped you in life as well. I believe in all my lifetimes that the smell, feel and touch of paper and pen has empowered me!

At a very young age, I fell in love with the written word. Books fueled my mind. Writing in a diary as it was called in my youth nurtured my soul. My heart today is searching for something I cannot put my finger on. It’s a constant ache within that I need to gently listen to. I am amazed at the power of books and the simple act of taking a pen to paper. For years now I have practiced the act of keeping a journal. My journal is my connection to my soul and all that I desire to manifest. When we journal, we release all that is troubling us as a form of personal therapy. Taking pen to paper is powerful1

It’s a constant ache within that I need to gently listen to. Unfortunately, how does one manifest what the heart needs to feel whole? Is my heart broken? Is my heart blocked? Is my heart hurting? I believe, that my heart is full of love. Yet, why the ache? There is a deep connection to my soul and heart that I am required to nurture and nourish. Writing and reading are my choices of food. Serving all is the third choice that fuels my soul today!

I have come to believe it is in sharing all that I have read, studied and manifested in writing! In 2010, I self-published my first book, Making Believers: Connect to the Light within and then republished it in 2011 with Balboa Press. It was an extremely exciting time in my life. I did feel a little vulnerable exposing all that I had experienced in the years prior to publishing. A sort of spiritual journey and memoir up to that point in my life.

“You are never alone when you’re reading a book.” – Susan Wiggs

Our lives are full of adventure and are one of the things which I have embraced through my reading of different authors. I have traveled to Europe on a cruise with Dr. Wayne Dwyer. Gathered a bulk of workshops into my life experience from; “I Can Do It” workshops in New York, Florida, and California with various authors – Carolyn Myss, Sonia Choquette, John Holland, Gregg Braden, Wayne Dwyer, Doreen Virtue, Maryann Williamson, and Deborah King to name a few.

I enjoyed online courses throughout these years as well. From 2011 until 2017 I have studied Energy Healing with Deborah King and I am now a Graduate of her Life Force Energy Healing School. The greatest of lessons which changed my life tremendously was Deborah King teaching me to meditate with sutras. It has been her teachings on Characterology, Ayurveda, The Chakras and life in general that I have incorporated into my sessions and life today.

I AM a blogger and I have decided to blog on this site about all that I have found insightful, inspiring and enlightening. The enormous library I have accumulated delights and inspires me daily. It is the teachings of these authors and all that they have shared with me that I wish to empower you with, my reader.

“Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.” – Joseph Addison

Hopefully, my adventure will in some way inspire the adventure that you are traveling. As we journey down this path through my blog, I look forward to your comments and anything that will help both of us to become aware of our truth. It is the foundation of all our lives to live our truth, speak our truth and be our truth.

In the end, these blogs will be a look into the teachings and books that will either be enough or will encourage you to read said books. As I am an avid reader as well as a collector of books, I usually read all the authors books eventually. Lets both enjoy our adventure! Here is the first book that changed my life tremendously and which began my love for positive affirmations:

Teachings of Louis L. Hay / Book: You Can Heal Your Life

Her Philosophy…

  • We are each responsible for all of our experiences.
  • Every thought we think is creating our future.
  • The point of power is always in the present moment.
  • Everyone suffers from self-hatred and guilt.
  • The bottom line for everyone is, “I’m not good enough.”
  • It’s only a thought, and a thought can be changed.
  • We create every so-called illness in our body.
  • Resentment, criticism, and guilt are the most dangerous patterns.
  • Releasing resentment will dissolve even cancer.
  • We must release the past and forgive everyone.
  • We must be willing to begin to learn to love ourselves.
  • Self-approval and self-acceptance in the now are the keys to positive changes.
  • When we really love ourselves, everything in our life works.

Her Suggestions…

This book is set up to take you through a session, just as if you would if you were with Louise in person as a private client and attended one of her workshops. Each chapter in this book opens with an affirmation. Each of these is good to use when you are working on that area of your life. Take two or three days to study and work with each chapter. Keep saying and writing the affirmation that opens the chapter. The chapters close with a  treatment. This is a flow of positive ideas designed to change consciousness. Read over this treatment several times a day. Personally, I would take a positive affirmation and write it for 21 times, for 21 days.

“I’m pretty sure my addiction to reading has just reached a whole new level,” – Colleen Hoover

It was in October of 2003 when I read this book and changed my life. I had been an at home mom suffering from empty nest syndrome when three of my children moved on to experience their lives. I would become a Reiki Master in 2004, a Certified Holistic Health Counselor in 2005 and opened my one-on-one counseling business Believable Alternatives also in 2005 and became a Metaphysical Practitioner in 2008.

I would take a subject to study once a year – 2006 Kabbalah, 2007 Science of Mind, 2009 A Course in Miracles, 2010, Teachings of Abraham with Esther and Jerry Hicks. 2011, I began my studies with Deborah King. Presently, I am studying about learning to open the Akashic Records with Maureen St Germain, as well as, Martha Beck and Elizabeth Gilbert on Light Writing. I am loving life!

  1. This blog was inspiring to me as I sit at accupuncture with my son. I decided to read this aloud to him. Not sure if he got anything good out of it but I did. I need to read this book and start doing affirmations again. Thanks Lala
